Avoid products made with composite wood or raw medium density fiberboard. Bringing items into your home made with formaldehyde will contaminate the air in your home and can cause allergies, asthma, or cancer in your family. So, take the time and be informed about the crib’s manufactured materials.

When you get to the store, don’t shop alone, find a sales person. They will be able to answer any questions you may have, so don’t be afraid to ask.
