Once you choose a theme you pretty much think that you have the whole thing under control but you might be surprised. I discovered that choosing the theme in general isn’t the only decision that needs to be made when I was shopping for Winnie the Pooh baby shower invitations.

First of all, there are thousands of theme ideas out there. How do you know which one is the right one for the baby? It may seem silly putting so much thought into it considering the baby isn’t going to be there, really, but baby showers are a big event in the preparation for a new child. So I set out to find the perfect theme for my girlfriend’s shower.

While you may think that the invitation picking should be easy, think again. Because theme baby showers are so popular now there are hundreds of invitation designs. Pooh invitations are quite popular so there are many different kinds. What you choose depends on your personal preference, and which invitation design best suits the baby shower you would like to have.

You may find the invitation choosing overwhelming, that’s okay. Just take your time and sort through all the different designs. Instead of trying to settle on one design immediately, start setting aside the invitations that you really like. When you have a small stack you can then narrow down your choice to the best one.

Now I had my invitations narrowed down to just two, regular Pooh and classic Pooh. One was bright and suited young children, the other softer and perfect for babies. It was difficult since I loved them both but I went with classic Pooh as I thought it was more suitable for a nice, serene, baby shower.

The colors in the classic Pooh line are just so nice and soft, whereas the newer Pooh merchandise is so bright it becomes obnoxious. I wanted my friend’s baby to have a calm beginning, to not be overwhelmed by all the colors.

Anyways, the choice was made so I grabbed by Winnie the Pooh baby shower invitations and then headed down the aisle to find more Pooh themed merchandise to help me throw the perfect shower.
